Clean Solar Solutions have completed the solar panel cleaning on 4 Betapak units at Rookley on the Isle of Wight. The solar panel cleaning was completed on behalf of our partners Ethical Power who specialise in reducing the energy consumption for businesses.
Ethical Power fitted the solar panels to the Betapak units which has seen a noticeable reduction in their energy bills as well as seeing them financially benefit from the government Feed-In-Tariff. As seen from the picture below, the dust and grime carried by the air and rainwater had started to accumulate, especially along the bottom edge on the solar panels and this in turn inhibits the output from the solar array.
As a result of regular solar panel cleaning, Betapak will have solar panels installed that will continue to produce to their maximum yield.
