The UK’s first solar panel cleaning training event was hosted by Clean Solar Solutions Ltd took place on Saturday 25th April 2015 and was considered a success by all who attended. It was much anticipated and we were glad to have 29 delegates attend from 17 different companies nationwide. We will be hosting solar panel cleaning training events in the future.
Although as a company Clean Solar Solutions continue to operate all over the UK, we now have dedicated, certified Clean Solar Solutions Ltd Approved Contractors operating in the counties of Devon, Dorset, East Sussex, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire, Shropshire, Somerset, Staffordshire, Surrey and Wiltshire.
Steve Williams, M. D. of Clean Solar Solutions says “This is a proud milestone in our company’s history. Safety standards vary massively regarding solar panel cleaning. We consider this to be unacceptable. It is our firm belief that training to clean solar panels is needed and in time should even perhaps be regulated.

The output data Clean Solar Solutions will now look to glean from all parts of the UK regarding how long it takes solar panel outputs to drop and also how solar panel output increases as a direct result of cleaning will be invaluable to us. As a company we are striving to present a long-term picture of how the dust and other forms of build up accumulate specifically in the UK climate.
When asked what was their main reason for attending, over 90% gave an answer relating to safety. This was pleasing because as many more seek to break into the solar panel cleaning industry, safety must be paramount on everyone’s minds. We are very glad that these companies recognised Clean Solar Solutions as being the most experienced solar panel cleaning company in the UK and therefore in a prime position to provide such advice.
